  • Make BF2 a High Priority Application problem

    In the thread called 'BF2 Optimization Guide'.
    Located -> http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44287

    There is a section that enables one to make BF2 a High Priority Application.

    Im wondering what the following command really does:

    @echo off
    cd /d "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2"
    start /high BF2.exe +menu 1 +fullscreen 1
    Becuase when I make BF2 a high priority applications (according to the guide) my keyboard gets lag effects in the game.
    It's a cordless model: Logitech diNovo Cordless Desktop for Notebooks.

    That's not strange because your keyboard drivers and apps won't get the priority to do a lot then. I suggest to not use the high priority tweak unless you use no programs in the background besides Battlefield 2. Personally I use TeamSpeak and therefore I will keep Battlefield 2 on Normal. The performance increase won't be more then 1 FPS or less anyway.
