    What is Vsync???

    well as the title says what does Vertical Sync do and how would it help visually with BF2 and what would it do Performance wise?? cause i was thinking about using it but what does it do before i use it???

    To sum it up quite vaguely, it simply prevents graphical "tearing" that you may get on the screen. Not all get this, and those who do, might not even notice it.

    Generally, Vertical Sync does affect your frames in an adverse way, I would advise you to leave it off.

      It synchronisises the FPS with the refreshrate. When on 60Hz you will get 60, 30 or 15 FPS steady (not talking about Triple Buffering...) and this will make sure that you don't get image tearing when you are looking at vertical objects/textures.
