Big Planes

So I did some searching and couldnt find anything SOOO.....

what does everyone thing about biigger planes being incuded in BF2, would they provide a tactical advantage etc etc

I personally would love to see the B-1b or the B-2 or even the B-52 bombers cluster bombing the Center Island on Zatar wetlands, sweet

But there is going to be a b-52 in US Intervention.

I'd like to see the C5 in the game. You could transport the entire team, armor, and transport vehicles to the other side of the map!

I would find that horrible, because the b52 would most likely erase the entire map in the press of a button and probably have the turn radius of several maps.
I have nothing against the planes as is, but a b52 would be just ruining the game.

you are also thinking realisticly glaucoma.. all the planes in bf2 right now dont fly like they should so they could easily take a larger plane and make it fly in the size of one map. On the other hand I do agree that there are enough planes right now, but I would like to see a C-130 in it. Not only could it be used as a transport or spawnpoint (the real way of earning that airborne ribbon) but you could mount miniguns on it.. it was done in desert combat and in my opinion it worked well.

Hey, a C-5 would be nice. AN airplane witha cargo bay bigger than a football field. (I used to work on these) I once saw a whole brigade put on an airfield (rapid deployment) in about 3 min. I also saw 7 black hawks in one C-5, I walked in and counted. (I was a Sgt in the AF). Oh sorry, i hate pilots but love Aircraft. . . . . . .Red

The current planes, while totally arcade, are (like all vehicles, air or ground) immense fun to use, both as intended and subversively (in the case of Z-8 and Mi-17), at least as far as I'm concerned.
I personally just can't imagine an oversized flying hotdog adding much to the game.

I group big planes with big ships - they take up way too much space and provide fun for only a few players. Nevermind that they're even more off-scale with the battle sizes.

I would like to see the A-10 tank killa. that would be cool on a very open map, like a desert map. But it need to be made

I would like to see the Tupolev 160 Blackjack. That would be cool on any map, because it would mean the round ending in an instant draw because everyone dies forever.

an A-10 would be pretty cool and fits right into the whole theme of BF2, probably better than any other jet. heavy bombers, such as the B-1B and B-52 don't make much sense in this game in my opinion.

I would like to see a robot driven spawn point within a c-2 or something.

Not one you can fly though, but a robot driven plane spawn would be sweet.

I rememebr there was one map in DC or PoE where it was 2 airports and a ****load of F16s and F15s for each side......loved it
