video resolution settings

Hello everyone! I seem not to be able to set my in game resolution higher than 1280x1024. I currently own a 2005FPW which can achieve native resolution of 1680x1050. Is there any way i can bypass the resolution limit? I am currently using the latest patches (1.12) but do not have the Special Forces expansion installed. Here are my computer specs:

Nice PC mate, and I think it is possible to go past 1280X1024 as iv seen people run in 1600X1280, im sure you will get a response soon though

Bleh..LCD monitors and BF2 don't get along well.

Have you tried forcing resolution via the command line?

i have the same problem, i've tried lots of things from other posts around the forums but nothign works. i can't even get bf2 to play now, no matter what resolution. the game starts up then screen goes black then reverts back to desktop.
