I don´t know why they call GL noobtube, I think unless you´re shooting at your feet noobtubes still requires a little expertise, the really annoying combination is c4 and bunnyhopping, and what is worse is that it isn´t used by noobs.

Yesterday I was playing the Karkand Map and enjoying it, when a guy named something braveheart spoiled all my fun.
The only thing that this guy was doing was jumping allover the place and droping c4...and killed everyone in it´s blast radius...sometimes even himself.

It was the first time I really got #%%%## playing this game. The only thing I saw was something passing through me Jumping and then the omnious message Braveheart has killed you with c4....ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Of course when his supply of C4 was depleted he couldn´t shoot a building...so he died and returned with more C4....

i agree i think its silly, unrealistic and childlike when people go round bunnyhopping and dolphin diving with c4, although i think the new patch will help.

by the way does anyone know if u will be able to jump and throw grenades - so they go further?

Welcome to BF2.

Come up with your own strategy to take him out. Try getting better with shooting him at range, rather than trying to face him in an alley.

I´ve tried, but this guy was just hidding until someone appeared, only then He started to jump in the middle of our team and droping c4...the problem was that he was a pro with c4 and knew where to hide.
He alone was having a massive 64 kills in karkand before I was kicked for swearing to him

2. u got ownd

3. its not worser than noobtube c4 hopping requires skill what GL really doesnt.. (shoot at ur feets while in the air..)

and dont think c4 trowers are noobs they just know a good tactic to score kills instead of dying.... like u

I got booted and banned from a server last nite for calling an admin a Noob Toober.
I hate noob toobers worse than c-4-chuckers,bunny hoppers, campers, dolphin-divers and tank whores.
All you noob toobers out there, you take the last shred of realism out of this game.
The only thing worse than a Noob Toober is a Bunny Hopping Noob Toober.

Ok, here is a guy that is a bunnyhopper and uses c4 :) ...ya great skill, just drop a c4 at a junction and wait for someone to pass and press a button...realy hard...ooooooooooooooooooooo.

Why do you say that c4 is a good tatic and noobtube not? You don´t need to have any kind of skill in throwing bags to the ground. The only skill that is required is in timing the jumps and running away from the blast.

By the way...I think most people in this thread thinks I am a noob, by the way I have a K/D ratio of 1.86 playing assault infantary, not very good but not very bad.

The Admin was stupid for kicking you, but do you really think that using c4 to kill infantary is more realistic than using a grenade launcher? Try telling that to the armed forces.

Now I use less the noobtube, but the best killings I managed were from shooting my tube from afar...A week ago I was on top of a building with several other players and they weren´t beliving that I could kill people that were running at full speed from such distances. Several of them congratulated me, some of the grenades only hited the other players several seconds after release.

Ok, someone has got to tell me what this "noobtube" you are all referring to is. It cannot simply be the use of the M203 grenade launcher as it's not easy to judge the lob on thos things. If I manage to drop one on your head from 300 meters then I deserve that kill. The blast radius is relatively small compared to other explosives. Now if there is a tactic being employed with them that I am unaware of then please post it.

To the dude with the bouncy c4, the answer is claymores. spawn as a sniper and head to where he hides. drop a few of them there and see what happens when a happy skipping c-4 maniac trips one. Yes, you may die, but it's well worth it. eventually he will get tired of trading single kills and will either go somewhere else or he'll switch to another annoying tactic.

Personally, I think that someone who is a noob tuber, is the bunny hopping assholes who jump and shoot near you (not always hitting you) and kill you (mostly with just the explosion. Its much different to hit someone over a distance with the 40mm than it is to have some jackass jump a corner and shoot the ground in front of you. C4 chucking is semi-annoying but not as annoying as the bunny hoppers with 40mms or the fags that put c4 on their vehicles and slam into you and the C4 explodes (would be different if that person got out of their vehicle and hit the detenator, but its stupid that just slamming the vehicle into your vehicle is enough because you can hit a C4 with a hammer and it won't explode, not to mention light it on fire, where as you can be like 3 miles away and use a cellphone to set it off.)

Actually, bunny hopping at all is gay and I can't wait until the patch comes out and ends the gayness (I know you'll still be able to jump around like an idiot, but you won't be able to shoot while doing it!)

I do not mind being killed by the GL once in a while, but i believe it clearly is not being used how it should be which sucks because noone can control that in a videogame. The GL is meant to dispatch multiple enemies that are hidden from vieiw such as in a bunker or for taking care of light armored vehicles and also low flying helicopters. This is exactely how I use them when playing as the assault class. Nothing makes me more angry than when i am close to a guy shooting normal bullets at him and he jumps and shoots a nade at my feet, even from afar when i get into a dual and instead of shooting back with the rifle he fires a grenade at me while jumping around. I dont care if that takes skill or not its still unrealistic. Same goes for the antitank kit which I wont get into because its the same ****.
