how do u get higher ranks within totalbf2? is it by how many posts u have made???

Yes, but a word of caution, dont needlessly start posting. Actually contribute to a thread, or start a thread that is worthwhile. Your peers will judge you based on that, and not how many posts you have. If you have issues with your computer, be very thorough in listing your specs and immediate issue. PS welcome to the forums!

I think you get them at 20, 50, 100, 300 posts something like that. Just like in BF2 - the ranks progressively go up in the amount you need. Rather than a simple progression...it almost doubles for each or something like that.

You will start to notice people with around the same posts you have with a different rank and you will be able to tell where the break point is. I could never find the numbers defined when I was first curious about it.
