Q: "How do I find out my Player ID number?"
A: In your Battlefield2 Installation Folder (Default: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2) you will see a file with the name "gp.info". Open this file with Notepad. It should look like this: PHP Code:
    [43695997]

    userid=11735301
    valid
    =1
    nick
    =DrunkenPirate
    uniquenick
    =DrunkenPirate

The number in the brackets (example: [43695997]) is the BF2 Account ID that we are looking for. Write down this ID Number or simply copy & paste it into your profile PID field. REMEMBER its the pid number, the 8 digit number between the [ ].
However most stat sites now only require your actual game name but this information is here for those that want the actual PID number.
This is the instructions for finding the PID Number. I have no "gp.info" file in my BF2 folder. What do I do?

go to http://www.bf2s.com and look up your PID there.

It's near the bottom of the page under 'Misc Stats'

Type in your nick to get your stats and in the Misc. Stats towards the bottom you'll find your PID number.

Damn, 99% the same reply in the same minute?

Talus, what server would I most likely find you on if I was looking to spend an evening killing you?

                Re: gp.info file not found

                LOL!

I'm in Canada so any server that pings well for me...basically any of the ECGN servers.

Going to BF2s.com or BF2Tracker.com will tell you what server I'm on...
