    Best setup to play BF2: X1800XT/Gef 7800GTX - 512MB - Compared

    For all those who want only the best setup in regards to performance and quality, here a review of The Biggest Baddest Cards of this moment. Look at the framerates at the highest possible settings:

    Nvidia -> 7800GTX 512MB is the King! No more discussions!

    Hope this helps some people in deciding in there purchase for a card.

    We used :
    XFX Geforce 7800GTX 512MB 580/1730 MHz
    ATI RADEON 1800 XT 625/1500 MHz
    Nvidia Geforce 7800 GTX 430/1200 MHz
    Dual core Athlon 64 4800+ clocked at 2400 MHz
    Abit Fatal1ty Nforce 4 SLI motherboard
    2x1024 MB Corsair CMX 1024 3500LL PRO edition
    Western Digital 8MB 160GB SATA drive
    Stock Athlon 64 cooler
    OCZ Power Stream 600W PSU




    Battlefield 2 FSAA 4X + Aniso 8X

        Those didn't take into account the high levels of AA you can achieve with the X1800 without it loosing many FPS. And by high, I mean really high, not just 4x. They also don't seem to mention how much it costs. Just check the prices on Google or anywhere. You're looking at around $800 for one card. For just a little more, you could get an X1800 X-Fire setup that would smoke a lone XFX 7800 512mb.

        Oh yeah, and a X1800XT 512mb is only $500, as compaired to nearly $800.

          i see you used a OCZ Power Stream 600W PSU
          may i say good choice...but would you recomend say a 300watt for the testing as alot of ppl seem to think that this dosent make mutch diffence..but im sure it does.

              no but i make custom rigs,and most moders use a decent psu

              if i did sell psu i have a shop full of good ones and no cheap **** :)
