That's right, the beloved M1 Garand (Pacific Theatre maps) from BF42. 8 rounds, semi-automatic, and extremely accurate. I'd love for a chance to get some kills the old school way.

For me, I would find it sort of weird if everybody else had these nice ass M16A2's and G36E's when suddenly some guy with a M1 Garand pops out of nowhere and dies after 2 shots. Wouldn't be really great against a Blackhawk or anything.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Battlefield 1942 remake in the Battlefield 2 engine. That would be fun.

i visited the US army ordiance musuem at aberdeen, MD, and found a chinese gun that was manufactured in 1800s, was 25mm, and was labeled as an anti-tank rifle

(mind you tank wouldn;t appear until WWI)

i want that gun.

well considering that the Garand has a much bigger caliber then the M16/M4 it might be able to penetrate BH copit glass, and it would be a damn powerful rifle

Mp5 and yes it is embaressing to be killed by that gun.

An mp5 can and do tear your sh!t up both in real life and in the game. If you ever get the opportunity to fire one, do it. You will rethink your position.
Why would you want to have that gun if BF2 if it is already there? Im not understanding your post.

Few days ago I got owned by the mp5. Probably due to lag, I had the MEC 101 in my hands too. Never been killed by the mp5 for than 15 times. It's only good if the guy is sitting still, unaware if your presence and it runs out too quick.
