Hind not able to carry any troops and totally nerf it.

For you stupid ones out there the Mi-24 has a large troop comparment in the back of it, that is why it is so big.

Ya, I think it would have been good if the Hind could carry troops like in real life. It would help add balance for teams without a blackhawk.

the hind is indeed a piece of **** , it lacks manouvers, misiles to wide ...

and certainly it has to match the apache that is way better in every way

I have been a gunner with piolets who flew hinds that totally own teh $hit out of everything. Including apaches.

A couple of Dice came from Desert Combat.
In that mod they made the hind able for transport.

On one hand strange but for game play its ok. Look at the blackhawk capturing flag, totally ruins a map like mashtuur in my opinion.
Some SFmaps are to small for choppers anyway.

Let me ask you this - all you old DC players out there, how many times did you actually transport or get transported in a Hind? I think I can recall maybe 5 times in 3 years of playing. Now, for SF, how many pilots actually wait around for a gunner, much less 4 more guys to load in the bird? Even with squads, I see way too may 1 person attack copters flying around.

I just don't see it as that big an issue to get so agitated about.

People got in the Hind all the time especially if they were waiting for it and someone else got in both the gunner seats, they got in just to get out of the base or even to get to there main base as the airstrip was a bit out of the way.

Also in capture the flag it was used to transport troops to the flag they took teh flag while the hind bomb the hell out of anything on the ground, and that happen when just taking a normal outpost.

I agree with you in a way as it was never used for transporting troops, but troops got in and then got out when they flew over an area they wanted to attack.
