Yeah it's odd. I had a teammate who got hit by a jet dropping a bomb on my squad on Clean Sweep. His corpse was thrown into a low tree and hung on the lower branch. I was playing medic so I went over and could reach his legs and zapped him, reviving him. :laugh:

your right, bf2 should turn into a gib fest. body parts everywhere!

as for your ladder thing, ya, ladders and stairs its a bit glitchy cuz the body is lie trying to slide down them and its hard to hit them with a revive.

as for inside a vehicle, how do you expect to revive them? switch positions and pull out the med kits?

no, that's not the points about the vehicles, im saying that u can revive dead pieces of flesh (referring to my C4 comment) while u cannot revive perfectally revivable people in vehicles

Let's all say it together now: It's A Game.

There's no respawn in real life either. When you die, you're CD should explode in it's drive and buying a new game wouldn't help since you can't buy your way outta the grave.

It should also take you 2 to 4 months of hospital time in order to recover from a bullet wound that didn't kill you. Even then, you're going to be in pain for a long time (decrease movement speed and health?).

For that matter, you should be court martialed and shot for TKs.

Doesn't sound like heaps o fun ta me.

like wargimp said, its just a game. it wouldnt be any fun if it was overley realistic.

but at the same time, making it reasonable makes ppl complain. in real life helicopters and jets will own ground troops. but everyone and their mom still complains they are unfair in the game.

Most of the time it is. I end up just flat out dead most of the time when I catch C4. Being trapped in a burning vehicle isn't going leave very much of you behind to rivive. I have been outright killed by a sniper shot (I was low on health and took a round in the head. Thud, dead).

The thing is, it has to be balanced for fun play. The medic kit wouldn't be much fun to play if realistic damage caused realistic results. Virtually everyone would be dead before you had time to do anything about it.

just an idea from what another posted above

How about that when you get revived your stamina is decreased to half or 75% of normal. This happens everytime you get revived. Though if you die and respawn its reset.

I didn't want to post this before someone else, but now that the secret seems to be out (thanks Magical Poop), have you guys ever tried putting 30 rounds of Vodnik .50 into each of the eyes of the guy on the billboard ad on Sharqi?
