dont use a speed pad but why not make the question mark the 3 weapon key to change from full auto to semi/auto?

Thanks Guys I appreciate all the advice and links, if there's any more out there please don't hesitate to post. I'll be looking into what's been put up for now. Seems like an enormous task to map the keys and set the macros. I'll be extremely interested in one touch of a button, select grenades and throw macro

If you download my profile in the post above it has a Grenade throw macro assigned to the big red button. It was just a matter of figuring out the timings. Only works for a hand grenade mind you, different timings would have to be experimented with for the Grenade launcher. Just open up my profile in the Nostromo Profile editor and set it up the same way in your profile.

If your hand hurts after using the D pad then you're either pressing too hard or you already have issues with your hand/wrist.

Movement is something you do ALL game.
Using your fingers for Movement is what gives people hand problems.
I feel sorry for all the Z-Board Users. Carpal tunnel city.
I've been using the D pad for movement since the n50 and it's actually helped my hand.
When I used to use the KB my hand hurt me all the time.
After going with the speedpad I can play for hours at a time.
Your finger ligaments are what strain the easiest.
With the D pad at the angle it's at on the n50 & n52 it's very ergonomic natural position for your thumb.

Just my experience.

OH...I agree with not using wireless for gaming though.
Last thing you need is for the battery to go dead in the middle of a match. Rechargeable or not it's a pain.

Glad to help. Use it wisely . Check this thread out about 'Voice Recognition', I can see people shouting 'grenade' or 'fire in the hole' to initiate a grenade throw macro LOL.

Does anyone know why the file downloads in the above posts are not working anymore?

I just bought a n52 and wanted to look at some of other configs.

When TotalBf2 had a facelift recently all attachments were lost from post's. Kinda late here so I'll put mine up again tomorrow, either that or PM me and i'll email it to you.

Always good to see another Nostromo user.

yeah i'd like to check it out, i never use the d pad for movement and would like to try some other configs out

Right I updated my previous post with a zip file containing two more recent versions of my Nostromo profile. Pretty much the same as described in previous post although lately I have less use for the external vehicle view modes as i use Autohotkey to double up the finctions of my mouse buttons. So instead I use Shift/Win in conjunction with certain mouse buttons to change vehicle views, answer yes/no, zoom map, bring up map etc.

Hope it's of use.
