    Please Help

I got battlefield 2 and special forces for christmas and i installed battlefield....but when i installed special forces i got the dreaded "patching failed" error, and i got this with every patch also...but thats not the problem....i have a RADEON 9200 card and yes, i know it says its not compatible, i'm aware of that, but when i go to play a multiplayer, it goes back to the desktop at around 41% loaded. It also minimizes and says "vpu recover" malarkey whilst on the menu. I have been told to change my 2 RAM sticks to 'single channel' instead of 'dual'...how do you do this?
PLEASE NOTE--I'M AWARE MY VIDEO CARD ISNT SUPPORTED, I'M JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND KNOWS HOW TO FIX IT.

    Cheers

    Re: Please Help

Go into your BIOS and change the AGP setting from 8x to 4x, it should work then. No need to do anything with the ram.

            yea, useless.
I phoned aswell.....the guy on the other end was really rude, he said things like "its not a difficult question" and "thats not what i asked you" and stuff.
Anyway he said something about the network connection or something

              Re: Please Help

You need to get over this 'patching failed' problem before you do anything else.

Do a manual uninstall as explained here:

              Then re-install BF2
              Re-install SF
              Apply v1.12
