How to play demo files?

Yes, I searched, and everything was either about the BF2 demo or about making a demo.

How do you play demo files? One post said to make a "Demo" folder in your profile folder and put it in there, but the Community thing didn't recognize it.

My Documents>Battlefield2>Profiles>Default>Demos.

If that dosen't work then I dont know.

will it work if u change the program it uses to run to bf2. it might go there by default, but idk cause i accidentally changed mine to windows media player :P

What do u mena it di not recognize it? was it showing in red? if it was that means that demo came from a previous version of BF2. You can only play demos that are the same version as your game.
