Please can someone help me ?

Sup people,
My current rig is as follows:

Amd Athlon 64 3500+
BFG 7800GT OC (With Arctic Cooler Fan)
2 gig Corsair PC3200
320gb Sata
OCZ Modstream PSU (450Watt)

Im currently running the 81.98 drivers and I was just wondering which Graphics Card drivers would be best for my 7800GT. If these are the best drivers out there then it doesnt really matter, but a little more performance wouldnt hurt (In SF for example)

hi m8 well this may or may not help u (cus u may av tryed it )
but that card is powersupply hungry ive seen it loads of times and with those specs u shouldnt have any trouble with ur games but.......
i highly recomend u get 500+watt powersupply asap
do u av a dvd drive and a dvd burner(basacally 2 drives)and extra fans?
this all takes power and i sure the 7800gt uses alot of power,also defrag regulary helps with this common problem.hope this helps

i have a 6600gt and on the box it says 300watt powersupply minimum,as we all no the minimum should be doubled becuse the minimum is basacaly a cpu running the minimum 300 watt not a cpu with fast prosseser and 2 drives and 2 hd and fans ect,it kinda like the minmum spec on the back of a game we all no that if u want to play them on high u need to double those specs or higher even.

lmao well as im 27 and have a baby girl i dont play games all day like u,and youre not the one with the problem i dont care if u can play on 4xaa im trying to help someone not show off my high specs,and for the record i build custom pc for a living and alot of ppl bring there high spec pc to me saying why are my games slow the 1st thing i look for is a good powersupply and a defrag disk
and 70% of cases its power supply and poor disk managment,so there one from blade.verzilli TF that u might not like

I dont get low FPS, i get around 80 - 96 ish but when playing SF i drop to crap FPS and I dont think its my PSU thats the problem I was just wondering if there were any extra drivers. The minimum Watt PSU is 400W for a 7800GT I believe

ok if i must,you acually have a decent psu but youre card isnt psu hungry like a nvidia in my opinon ati are made for more fps rather than nvidia's better gfx quality,most nvida are power supply hungry unlike some of there ati counter parts,my tip for u is to get a mboard with sli and put 7800gt in sliu mode with ur 350 power supply and watch ur fps drop..hope that clears it up for u

i respect you for being a father and i dont play games all day cuz in grammar school, and my mother had cancer a few years ago so we never had a lot of money and when you come around telling everybody to buy a very expensive 500 watt psu it just ****es me off, especially because it isnt needed

sorry to hear that about youre mother,anyhows m8 i wasnt ordering ppl to get a 500watt and there around 30pounds in uk up to 70 for 680watt,i was just saying that most cases when a high spec pc isnt behaving like it should do,its normally a custom rig and a lot of ppl forget to get a new psu.not trying to disrispect you just trying to help fellow nvida players

that cool then,sorry to sound dumb but it has helped a few ppl,anyhows i cant get the latest drivers to work on some cards but i always go back to the one on the battlefiled disk it a savouir,unfortunaly not all cards like the 81 drivers some dont even play videos with it,i say try the 77.??that is on the bf2 disk and see if that helps

about a week ago i had a cpu come in
specs........
amd64 3000
1.5gig ram ddr400
160gb hd
gforce 6600

and it woulndt play with 81 drivers but worked fine with 77.30
same prob as u with the low fps in SF i removed the 81 driver and put 77.72 drivers from the bf2 disk and the stutering and low fps were gone,i came to the conclusion that the lastest drivers arent always the best option.hope this helps
