One shot in the front tracks will sure do some sarious damage. Wont kill it, but the second shot will certainly fook it up.

Hmmm...I recall doing a one shot kill on a T90 once. He was coming over a rise and I was below and my round hit him almost directly from underneath. ::shrugs:: I've also had TOW's go right through tanks, so, it might have been a fluke.

I've driven a lot of tanks and APCs and I have to say I've been hit by quite a few one hit shells, AT and Eryx missles.

So there's some spot on the tanks and APCs that take a lot of damage from one shot.

The craziest thing I've seen was an APC explode just by having someone place c4 on the vehicle and not switch to remote.

To set it up better, I always c4 my vehicles in case the enemy tries to jack my vehicle. On APCs I always place it on the front wheelwell. As I reached the first enemy flag, a Special Ops jumped out and placed c4 in the same wheelwell. It blew up instantly and I was awarded a kill and a suicide.

This happened four times in the same round.

Theres a bug with a sweetspot that destroys it.

As far as my experience of 60+ hours of armor. Useing the M1A2 I have been killed in one shot when I was at full health. However this was from another tank, and on a small enough server that I knew nobody else(AT guy) wasn't around.

1 - shoot the tank in the tracks with a TOW, one shot one kill
2 - shoot 2 AT missles in the tracks and it kills it,
with these ways, it is assuming that the tank has Full health and havent taking any damage if its taking damage it will go down even quicker,
Also i have tried these ways and they work, now im killing tank much more quickly

and for all those AT guys out there, aim for the treads. The treads were severely weakened in the last patch...that's why you cant run over a rock anymore in a tank without losing 2 bars of armor. In practice, I have been able to take out a tank in two shots by doing this, and note that I had the tank facing me, so i was hitting it in the front.

Has nothing to do with the patch. Treads have always been a 2-hit kill.

A buddy of mine and I do tank teams, him medic driving, me engineer 50cal turret. We get a helluva lot of people saying we're cheating and generally bitching. When up against a tank, apc, AT I jump out and start repairing. AT guys are pumping the tank, round after round to no avail. They get close sometimes, but *wrench*wrench* it's good as new. :)

I've only been one-shot killed in tanks by laser missle from choppers. Never been one shot tanked or AT'ed. Lucky maybe. /shrug
