Sorry if this has been asked before but i really wold like to know how to record a battle. I have tried entering the command into the console but it comes up with an error.

Any help ?

Search for 'battlefield recorded' in the topic and not 'battlefield TV' as they are different things.

Recorder allows you to record while TV allows you to watch other people playing (live).

Battle Recorder is a great feature, but you need to play on a server that has BR enabled, and really there arent too many, a few. One i know for sure of is "Pimp Shack Dual CPU Ranked"

Its great to go back and see all the enemies you didnt even see, learn from mistakes, maybe even develop a new technique.

SO this BAttleRecorder feature sounds very interesting - but how do i know when searching for say a sharqi map that a particular server has BR enabled??

Well a server can have it enabled, but that doesn't mean that it's actually working properly. There are already several threads listing which servers have BR confirmed to be working.

When connecting to a server you can see in the server browser if BR is enabled or not (beside the ranked icon I think).

In the All Seeing Eye ( a third patch browser) it lists 5000 BF2 servers but only 607 where BR has been set up properly and is working.

48 servers listed with BR enabled and running the sharqi map.

what is the BR icon when searching? it isnt the green tv screen is it cos like most of the servers have that????

Well there are no servers with it enebled near me so i think im just going to have to wait.... ah well.
