Change default Rate of Fire?

Hey guys, I hope that someone can help me with this. I have searched the forums and the internet, but maybe I missed it:

On all of the automatic weapons I would prefer to start out with a single rate of fire, rather than full-auto. As it is now, everytime I die and respawn I have to press the 3 key, which is rather irritating. Is there a console command something like that to make the weapons all start out in Non-Full-mode, rather than Full-auto?

OMG ROLF just press 3 and stop being so lazy. u'll appreciate it when you spawn on auto and theres 4 guys in front of you attempting to cap your flag..........

man dont be like that!! i fell i raised a legit point i have been in that situation enough times!!you spawn at a flag just as 3or4 enemies are attempting to cap your already on full-auto 1 clip later you got yourself 6 points and a flag defend......

i do not think you can do that, change your default rate of fire. seriously, pressing 3 isnt too bad huh? its right by the damn W key man! lol less than an inch of travel for your bird finger. sorry...

It would be a nice feature to have yes...but it is not available.

It would also be nice to be able to set your default weap too - like spawning in with your AT already selected, or the pistol on the sniper kit, etc.

There are many features I would love to be able to change the default - like having the cockpit show up - default it to no cockpit view for jet or gunner seat in heli, etc. Be able to set my default map zoom and HAVE IT STAY - I hate that fuggin zoom changing all the damn time - gets me killed more than it helps.

Can't be done in the game. You could make a mod with different defaults but then you can't play ranked servers of course.
