Green sniper spotted

This happened in 1.03 once (note 1.03):

Look north of the map, you can see a sniper icon, someone have spotted him but it was green :hmm:

anyone else seen this?

looks like maybe he was in your squad, and a bug produced the sniper icon. Never seen it before mind you.

I have seen when a squad member spots a tank, then either on the minimap (or by pressing M to bring it full size) or on the Squad screen map (Caps lock) it shows green. I happened to see it appear just as someone spotted it once.

It's confusing as hell, that's for sure.

I've seen this a few times. I think it might be connected to the red/blue bug where some friendlies show up as enemies (or vice versa).

Yeah, it's indeed connected to the Red/Blue Tag Error. I've several times been flown by a 'red' pilot. It's a bit odd, just ignore the colors and go for the tunics

lol have this problem too

but i have it all the time when comander or my team mates say spoted :cry:
