BF2 command respect for you shall recieve non

LOL ok the idea "squad leader distance limit" is here with more detail:

    !Important disclaimer:
This idea is patented under GLOBAL laws and no other user apart from LT_RYVEN (Period) or company apart from Electronic Arts Incorporated can use my idea, i will take legal action, then lethal action if a breach or breaches of this disclaimer is carried out by a 2nd/3rd to infinity party. If you do not agree dont read on and go live in a cave.
    Disclaimer End!

    LT_RYVEN`s !squad leader distance limit!

The squad leader has a constantly enforcing limit where any players who go out of his radius will get a "Warning you are leaving you post" this will be similar to leaving the battle field except on a smaller scale ofcourse. The distance limit SHOULD be 300 metric Metres from Ground Zero (Squad leader position) and there will be a 30 metre distance leway incase squad members are left behind.

The limiter is voided each time the Squad leader is critically wounded/dead or in any vehicle/boat/aircraft. Members of that Squad has the freedom to roam for only 5 minutes or until death and forced respawn at Ground Zero.

The Squad leader has the option to set individual "freedoms" for a designated squad member or allow the entire squad to go "free"

Incase of abusive or bad Leaders (pardon the pun) Squad members simply leave and form a new squad

Im thinking this can be applied for a new patch or more realisticly a mod.
The reason its posted here is so that i can have a larger audience, this was orginally started as random talk for why people didnt work together and how itcan be solved.

Anyways, i have a lot of free time, should be illegal but it isnt, so leave comments, if you knock me fine, add what would make it better.
This is so the phenomenon of NON-SQUADWORK goes away, for the greater good so to speak.

It'll never work, never be implemented and most of all it sucks.

Or Kindergarten Corps, where the objective is to keep everyone on a leash and give them savage beatings with a whip.

Re: BF2 command respect for you shall recieve non

Disclaimer, i was just messing around... Anyway, all the questions some of you asked were in there, really. Its not a leash, its just gameplay is almost entirely unorganized. I remember a commander ordering our squad to attack a post 1Km+ away cause half of our team(3guys) were there. So wtf is the remaining half gona do? Well obviosly theres no NEED to go out of your way to get to that position and bypass other flags... You would just go to nearest flag and try to work your way up. Why have squads, dont get me wrong its a strong and good point of the game but its not being used properly/effectively. One crappy organised 4 man squad can do alot of damage simply because there working/supporting eachother.

How many times did u wish there was support/medic/engineer/special forces at any given time your only 1 of those.

Your special forces you take out enemy artillery
your also the Commander your artillery is down
you wish you was engineer so eventually you spawn and have shotgun
enemy is 80m away, and you start firing
you realise you might aswell get knife out as pistol is inefective at ranges
you die, you spawn as special forces, you kill him
                you still have broken artillery...

This is my personal experience, i know "clans" do work together but the VAST majority arnt in clans and dont really co-operate. The idea was to guide people on team work, BF2`s concepts has the potential to be one of the best games ever

A good squad doesn't need to be spanked or handheld in order to stick together. They do it on their own.

Thus, they are a good squad.

Re: BF2 command respect for you shall recieve non

BF2 is perfectly capable of producing good squads that do not need this kind of leash crap. You just have to get a good group of players with mics which is quite hard on random servers unfortunately.

                              Idea is not needed....

Seems to me like you have experienced some bad teamplay...

Just form a squad, play with ppl you knopw (join a clan or community)...

If public players stray, warn them, and kick them from the squad if they dont follow orders..

                              Prob solved.... Patent denied
