calling all snipers

hello all i just thought that i start a new thread about us fellow snipers,
basacally if allowed i would like all snipers(when i say snipers i mean dedicated snipers not ocasanal ones :) ) to post there game id so i can and others can view there stats,ive been playing a a sniper for 21hours 47mins and have 306 kills and lots of deaths but do have 59% accuracy.
i no that im not the best but try me best.anyway i would like to view other ppl stats too my player id is 61608021 if any one whanted to view,
i would apreciate other pid's expacally ppl who have been playing for ages.thanks

Does using the G36C counts at sniper?
The gun does the same job, only better at it with rapid firing.

I'm a dedicated sniper. I don't have great scores or much time played. Still I consider myself to be above an average sniper.

how can you not have expert sniper?

I would have tankwhored myself up that badge as soon as I hit 100 hours lol :)

Im an occasional one but im still really good at it. It all depends on the map and stuff I guess. Im very good with sniping regardless if my stats are good or not (im not sure im about to go check.) But I mean it all depends on where you want to be on the map. You cant just go around sniping close range because your a sniper. You really pick off people from far away distances and help your squad know whatsup.

Good point :laugh: I still haven't got 35 kills in a round with sniper rifle and claymores. :cry:

I'm not that good with tank either and I rarely use any vehicles. Maybe I should try with a tank or wait that I'm so good with the rifle.

yup, thats what i use as my sniper, too. i cant hit a damn thing with a sniper rifle, but with a g36c i can take out black hawk gunners.

I used to be a sniper, but migrated to Assult and Support, then back to sniper. My ratios aren't too great though, but I do help much some rounds. Then the next round, I can go the entire round without killing anything because of getting either Spawn-n00b-tubed, tanked, C4ed, APCed, or some form of "not small arms bullet related death". which usually ends up screwing my ratio for whichever kit i'm using.

Anyway, offtopic things aside, Atleast I have slightly better than 1.0 ratio as Sniper. I can somehow find good spots from now and then.

I'm not good and I can't get 36+ kills, but I can go a round with 10 and 0 easily. my stats can probably be accessed by going to bf2s.com or right here under my avatar.

I used to be a sniper. Playing long hours on mashturr and Karkand, My favourites were the SVD and m24. I prefer SVD over all sniper. It was amazing what you can do with this thing, on Karkand, use the Svd and head near the apc that's broken down. I managed to grab 22 points in the first 2 mins by using this. Me and this other fella were going at it non stop. It was fantastic. I only died from support guns. Even so, I would always drop a claymore before I die. People underestimate the SVD but if you can keep at a medium range, you can pick people off easily. Either way, the M95 isn't that bad at the same tactic reducing the health bar to 2 bars for every shot. Believe it or not but your more likely to kill anyone with the SVD because it doesn't have a bolt action. Great for defending flags from long distances. Anyway thats my tips of 44 hours sniping.

I play sniper more than other kits, and Im far from the best. I do much better taking out other snipers, and make it a point to do so.

My accuracy is about 47% which I dont think is too bad, considering I take a lot of shots at moving targets, if its not a sniper, and Ive played like 16 hours with the sniper rifle, and almost 22 hours with the kit, have about 486 kills and 501 deaths with the gun itself. I dont think its too bad, considering I think most of my deaths are from either artillery, tanks, and people who snuck up on me, or other snipers as I tried taking them out. BF2Tracker.com has more up to date stats than BF2S.com does, so Im going by them.

EDIT: I havent gotten expert, but Ive gotten the 2nd tier medal right after achieving the first tier medal in the same game. I was very happy with that. I need to play a LOT more to get that expert though.

Stopped playing the game for a long time, so my stats don't reflect the account's age. I also decided recently to concetrate on sniping alone, using the M95 and SVD.

Sniper kit is by far my favorite kit. The M95 is my primary rifle.
