    Trying my first vid.

    Hey,

I really enjoy coming in here often and viewing all theses great movies. I'd really like to try and start my own and try to get my feet wet with the movie making thing for BF2. Anyhow what programs would you recommend me to use for a complete amature, I'd like to be able to lace sound acordingly to what is playing on the screen so it's in sync. Anyway any thought would be great!

Fraps is good to record. Movie Maker is what I used and its very user friendly.

Once you've learnt the basics in Movie Maker, try and move up to Sony Vegas or Premiere Pro. You can't do runtime in Movie Maker without making the program unstable so make sure you save often to avoid losing your work.

Hey I'm moving along pretty good with windows movie maker but I have a quick question. While a clip is playing is there a way I can divide the clip in the middle like a cut? I know how to trim the end or beggining off but like in the middle I have dead space I need to take out.

              -Thanks

Yes, I remember a little icon on the preview window, right next to "take picture"

Actually its in the same menu as your trim. Its farther down called split.

Putfile limits you to 25mb though. If its bigger than that, it won't upload.

Well done atarigod, you're on your way to movie making.
You shown you have good skill with sync, how to crossfade/normal fade, split media and capturing.
And that's the first time I've heard the actual music 'war' because I've always heard people singing it... never listened to the real thing lol!
                              Very nice.
