CTF me ASAP

Does anyone else miss Capture the Flag in this game? Conquest has gotten old. I'm actually playing Call of Duty 2 because of the CTF. I'm also thinking about reinstalling BF with the Desert Combat mod. Are people still playing that game in numbers?

Sof means ctf as in there is one flag at a main spawn for each side and the game mission is to try and steal the enemys flag and bring back to your own, they had this mode of play in bf1942 and it was great fun, id love to play wake ctf in bf2

Personally, I'd like ta see a defend and destroy style game type more than any other.

Every game has CTF.

Er, every other game has CTF.
I've simply played too much CTF to get excited about the idea of bringing it into BF2. So many other more interesting gametypes could be introduced.

The DCon CTF is pretty good, only there aren't many people on nowadays. You would need to go in mid-afternoon to get some good action.

I've never really understood why so many guys get hung up on CTF games. Sure, they're fun for a while, but in my experience, they're the biggest smacktard arenas out there.

I remember some feeeking good gameplay with S&D, hours of fun.

Yeah, I can just imagine after getting the enemy flag and hoofing it all the way back to your base, an army of smacktards would be waiting to TK you and each other in other to have the honour of 'capturing the flag'.

No thanks, I had enough of that from my extremely brief stint in Team Fortress Classic.
