FPS problems

This is my first time posting on this forum. however, i too is also have fps problems.i get anywhere from 40-50 fps with a resolution of 1280x1024 @60hz. i have a AMD 3500+ socket 939 with 7800gtx oc pci express. Also, does anyone know whats the best refresh rate to run a 19' benq lcd monitor at?

Some people just get horrible FPS with 1.12, no matter how many tweaks they try. Let´s just hope the patch helps those (I´m unfortunately one of them).
