Then you are doing something wrong.
Most of your deaths should be idiot pilots that don't know at which distance to start turning to avoid the helo. The second most frequent ammount of deaths should be caused by enemy helos and their wire guided missiles.

Not lethal, but annoying? Is there a ribbon for that? Most annoying AA?

Guy1: How many kills you got in the AA?
      Guy2: None...but I annoy them a lot.
Guy1: How many times did you get killed by the helo?
      Guy2: 500 or so?
      Guy1: Now, THAT's annoying.

Yeah, that sound pretty lame when sitting there on the ground. Take pride in the fact that an entire round spent in an annoying AA-mobile will take at least 20 kills off the gunner/pilot. It may also lead to dying helo from other causes such as: other stingers and other helos. It may even, in rare cases bring a helo down

My wishes for AA is a lead indicator for the cannon, proxy for the shells, 3-8x damage for the cannon, and mobile AA on more maps. I'm not for making stingers accurate as hell. Pointing and clicking shouldn't be able to negate hours of training. It would also be appropriate with an increase in points when doing what you should. Planes should get a massive score when they bring down a plane, AT-guys should get bonus points when taking out armor and so on.

If they just made it worthwile for planes to dogfight most people would be happy. Not the ones who only plays karkand and thinks BF2 is an infantry game mind you.

        EDIT: Removed redundant and.

I take so much pride in "annoying" jets that I never miss a chance.

Last night I was defending a base on Kubra Dam as an anti-tank; I was bunkered up and shooting SRAWs at enemy tanks that tried to roll in. During a lull, I noticed an enemy jet bombing one base over. High, fast, and might as well have been on the moon as far as anything I could do about it.

Well, of course I spotted him for my team-mates; that never hurts. And then I pointed my SRAW at him to make his buzzer go off. Instantly he banked sharp left ... and flew directly into a crane.

No points for me, but I laughed really hard.

TOW's and handheld AT missiles don't start the buzz on the planes/helos.

if they are a good piolet, they will drop flairs when they see the missle coming

                  different cam angles help alot

They don't? That's good to know. Musta just been a coincidence, then.

It's odd, though; I've had several pilots tell me that stuff *does* light up their buzzers. I guess I'll need to test this out.
