BF2 Locks Up On Specific Accnt. Name

When I log in using my original username, BF2 locks up right after I hit "join game"

If I log in using a different account name, everything is fine.

Try deleting the profile from harddrive.

Find the correct folder to delete by going to \My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\ and look in file profile.con in folders 0001 0002 etc. When you find the profile that causes trouble, delete the entire 000X folder where you found the correct .con file.

Then in Manage Accounts at login screen click Retrieve to get the login back. Now you have the same account again but with default BF2 settings.
