The smokes don't last long ,unrealistic. Real smokes last a couple of minutes and alot more smoke. Why don't we just call them flares thats how much smoke they put out

AN-M8 HC White Smoke grenade

This grenade is used to produce dense clouds of white smoke for signaling and screening.

(1) Body -- sheet steel cylinder.
(2) Filler -- 19 ounces of Type C, HC smoke mixture.
(3) Fuze -- M201A1.
(4) Weight -- 24 ounces.
(5) Safety clip -- no. (6) Capabilities -- can be thrown 30 meters by average soldier. The grenade emits a dense cloud of white smoke for 105 to 150 seconds.

I rarely use smoke grenades (except for annoying my teammates :p ) but from experience they are pretty useful because that smoke confuses the opponent for just a sec, just so u can get the edge. They definitely need to increase it to 2-3, like the flashbangs

OMG - If this new patch needs to address something, then it's gotta be smoke grenades. The support TC gas is much more effective as normal smoke, plus they get 4 of em !!!!!!

With only one smoke grenade at hand, using it wisely, ends up not using it at all. Do you use it to help out a team mate or do you save your own arse with it later??

I love em!!!! Gimme 3 at least, please, please please.

i dont use them anymore as their not so draastic effect...instead i use tear gas primarily as a smoke screen while capping a base etc....

Well, I can't see why DICE Sweden limited smokes to one for the assault kit in vanilla. DICE Canada gave the support kit in Special Forces a tear gas grenade launcher, which grenades act similarly to smoke grenades, and the ability to replenish his supply, infinitely!

I tend to use them while capping a flag.

They protect me from enemy snipers. :)

Normally used on KirkAND to get from side of the road to the other when a APC is at hand
