    No CD Patch

I was wondering if there is a no CD patch that works with the new patch and will work with patches to come. I tried a different one and when ever you update the patch it no longer works.

I assume you have a legal copy of the game.

No fixed .exe is availeble, one which could be played with every version.
If you can find a .exe for the newest version be sure that you save the original .exe so you can update the game when the new patch comes out. Thou a fixed image can do the trick, you can update the game then.

Not going to give any links here, because I think this is "illegal" in here these forums.

You should use a CD image and virtual CD driver instead of an exe hack. Much safer. I use Daemon Tools 3.47 and a downloaded mini-DVD image; no problems playing online.

or you can create a CD/DVD image of the physical disc with a program like Alcohol 120% and then mount it with Daemon Tools. i keep my BF2 disc safely stowed away in its case and the image mounted at all times.

note: there's an option in Alcohol 120% that i've seen discussed here before about creating a "mini-image" that is only a few MegaBytes rather than the entire disc. search the forums here and i'm sure you'll find the answer.

If you have a legal copy of BF2, then you can create your own image with Alcohol. Problem solved.

I created an image of my disk for backing up purposes and mounted that with daemon tool.

Go to www.CDFreaks.com and read-up. All the answers are there.

I was unable to create a CD image using alchola and nero.
It said it have a LOT of errors and it won't start a bit.

I have a legal copy of this game, (It is a CD-ROM version), I wonder if it would be working if I use the mininova BT version?

I did the same thing. I downloaded a mini-image of 2.5MB and it works like a charm. Modified executables is a no-no.

This is actually how you create a mini image.
Begin the image making process, let 3 or 4 read errors pop up (important) then cancel the process but DO NOT delete the image you made. It shouldn't be over a few MB and should load up in Daemon tools. Note that this image only contains the Table of Contents (File Structure) not the actual data, but will fool the copy protection enough to launch the game.

Not really, it takes up to a hour just to make a image of 10% (12mb somthing)
I believe EA had added some protection in the CDs so that I couldn't make a image of it.
I did however try to copy the CD files to my desktop w/ no problem.

Of course it's protected, that's why you can't use just any software to copy or image it. It's obviously possible to make an image since other people have; did you check the website linked earlier (www.cdfreaks.com)?
