Remaking DC Maps

Would it be legal to remake old DC maps? DC Basrahs Edge was definitely one of the BEST Battlefield maps ever created. It really should be moved to BF2 since pretty much all of the same vehicles are there.

no, you can use the same name, you just can highmap it, for example its no illegal to make a re-make of omaha and call it omaha beach, just DO NOT hight map it and port to bf2, that is illiegal.

That one would be easier then Basrahs Edge....Basrahs Edge seems like it'll be really hard to do, seeing as how its my first map.

na i reckon DC_No FLy Zone and mebe even DC_Bridge which was one of the best teamwork maps ever,sniper hideyholes mortar placments ect, i reckon tho the best for BF2 would have to be Midway be craziest map ever 32v32
