With only the choices above I would have to say keep it the way it is. If only the highest commander score was commander then people new to the game like myself would never get their score high enough to be commander.

that would mean that if u had never played commander bfore it would be almost impossible to ever play it, unless u join an empty server

I agree with the command score determing elections.
I have a Cmd Score of 9,528, this make me a better cmdr than most considering I have 78:01:42 of command time (that is 3.5 days of commanding) out of a total of 383:31:23 play time that is 25% of my total play time. I have alot of great cmdr experience and actually lead my troops. Most noob or inexperienced cmdrs just hope their team wins so they can get a 2X score.

That would be just great, the one with a high commander score will always be commander and keep getting more points. While the ones with less points never get a chance to gain any points. Nah thanks.

It wouldn't work! The only way for people who has 0 commander score to ever get commander is when noone else applies, which almost NEVER happens.

Has already been mentioned; would be too hard for beginning commanders to get in there and build up their rank. I don't find it frustrating right now, really. I'm not an exceptionally high rank and I usually get in when I apply. Lucky perhaps?

I think every player should take an IQ test. Dumb people = no commander.

I get pretty irritated when my commander sucks balls. Or is at the front lines.

beginners wont be able to become commander if the rest already has lots of cmd points

The problem is the MUNITY thing.

Even when we have a stupid commander, he is never kicked from his post.

How about both of those options? If someone is the same rank as you, regardless of how much further along in that rank you or they may be, it defaults to the commander score? The new people are getting screwed out of the commander position by the global score anyway, so it wouldn't change that aspect sadly. But it would make more sense, and put a supposedly better commander in there at least another 2% of the time. (making you have a 3% chance of getting a good commander now)

I say make it an actual vote so if 2nd Lieutenant *** McGee has been commander the last 3 rounds TK'ing with arty, you can vote against him before he even sits down to the commander position.

yea but new players to would have a little amnount of points 100 or so they stil woudln't be able to get comannder i usauly get the comander spot on most of the servers but i think the higher comand score is still beteer cuz sometimes you have a high ranked player who is a total nut
