U can steal ziplines, as long as ur class orignially had a zipline (medic, spec ops, sniper), but u have to get rid of ur own to do so, somebody killed me when i was on a grappling hook, they just threw their grappling hook into nowhere, took mine, and he grabbed a kill.

Ya, it's annoying, but it shows that a grappling hook is not a free ladder, cause it could become the free ladder of death lol.

ALso, if ur riding on a zipline, and the enemy steals ur zipline and then u fall and die.

And the prob is, that ur teamates don't get a tk, but when enemies do it to u, they get a kill.

Old topic - obviously no one so far has read any of them.

It means you were killed with the zip line in your hand. Same with your defibrolator deaths...it is the number of times you died while they are in your hands....same with the different guns etc.

It is not possible to be killed by a zip line or grappling hook - it has been tried and tested over and over.

You can die by flashbang and grenades before they go off - but not zips or grapples.

If you get your line stolen while riding or climbing - the death is not attributed to whatever you were on - it was attributed to the ground - so if anything it just says they "killed" you - not ziplined you.

Ya, exactly, i also tried killing somebody with the zipline as well. I think it should have the 'capablity' to kill, but if u kill somebody, u have expended the ammo,a nd u can't tkae ur zipline with u any more. I mean, seriously, i think a crossbow bolt should be able to kill somebody with one shot lol. ANyways, it's so fun killing with nades, i've gotten a couple of kills by just hitting th eenemy with the nades, they were killed by the direct hit on them, not the explosion, havn't done it with a smoke or a FB nade, but it would be hilarious if i did.

I don't think bf2s removed the "kill" part from the stats. This might have been because it could have affected other parts of the website.

Unless, of course, there is a way to kill someone with your zip line.

in fact there is, if your an engenner and you plant mines, after you die switch to sniper. zipline and if someone gets killed on your mine when your on a zipline. it happened to me unfortunatly
