YAYuh...skills for for just sittn' there

Just wondering (as usual :p), I jumped into the drivers seat for a hummer, and someone else jumped in. Immedietely I got a "Driver Ability" point.This has happened in the chopper, APC, ect ect.

Now dont get me wrong, I don't object to this at all heh, but What exactly warrants the point?

Doesn't that mean they killed some one while you sat inside or you or they ressupplyed something/one?

No, than it says like "Driver kill Asist" or something along those lines..

When someone else in your car is medic/support or whatever and gets healing/ammo points or smth like that.

you were damaged/low on ammo, and when they got in they healed/resupplied you

Ahh, I see, I see!

But what does ME recieving health or ammo have anything to do with MY skills. Why would I get a point for that?

Seems more reasonable to say that, because of the fact that I'm driving into enemy territory and getting hit, I should be losing points..

drivers get points for anything their passengers do

Eg. If you healed him or he healed you you get a point.

Basically you shouldn't get a point for that, but you do. Enjoy it.

Wonder why all the top BH pilots get thier points from aside from their gunners eh ?

I don't exactly know if this is understood completely, so let me explain in detail.

1.You drive
2. other one jumps in as medic or supply (or engineer ?)
3. other guy heals, resupplies, repairs ANYone/-thing in range (maybe you)
4. he gets a heal, resupply, repair point
5. because you are the driver and you drive him to the places where he can do those teamwork things, YOU get the driver special ability point.

if that really makes sense, is another question...
