Problem with joing any server

hey guys, im having some problems with Bf2 here. Everytime i join a server, it says this:



I dont know why, I reinstalled and what not. Before the reinstall I did delete the intro movies, becuase they are retarted and I didnt want to watch them everytime I started the damn game. But I fixed them, and it still gives me this. Anyone have this problem? I dont want to do the EA help thing, becuase I hate EA, but I might have to. Also, I got rid of all the mods I had.Thanks.

i guess ur BF2 is not the original copy?

No it is, that happened after my reinstall. I have the full game, I didnt DL it. I bought it for 50$, and it wont let me play. I cant think of any other problems.

I think he must be using a non-english version. Not sure.

However its probably because he isn't patched up to 1.12. Download it from EA from this link and patch it and try again. http://www.ea.com/official/battlefie.../downloads.jsp

then i have no idea, it does happen ocassionally, especially on certain servers, but if the problem happens to you on any servers, that must be something wrong on ur client side.

I do have it up to date, and it only occured on some servers for a while. Now its on everyone I try. Ill reinstall the patch.

it looks like his is an english copy. i dont think diff language versions of the game matter though, do they? if he didnt have the correct patch, the error msg should have said something like "Your version is older than the server".

i dont run servers, so i dont know why some servers say ur game is modified, it did happen to me a couple of times.
