I just got banned from my first server

I tried to log in and was informed i had been banned:cry: which is a real pain in the butt as it is a good server imho and I haven't been banned nefore from anywhere else.

I did get kicked out three times in the one day (8 hour period) but I feel it was ever so slightly harsh. :hmm:

The first time I complained to a so called teammate for punishing an accidental tk and I admit my launguage wasn't the best and I deserved to be kicked if a language filter was in place.

So I thought watch what you say.

However the next time I got kicked was for using the word 'noob' when I asked someone to stop 'noob tubing' all the time.

The final time I called someone a bunny hopping idiot and was auto booted again.

Ok I should learn to keep my mouth shut and the first kick was justified but surely getting banned for using the words 'noob' and 'bunny hopping idiot' is a little harsh??

Anyone got any opinions or does this seem fair enough to you? Has anyone ever got themselves back into a server they have been banned from, cause I would like to go back.

Doesn't seem like you did anything excessive-(like teamkilling as much as you can before being kicked or racism), but the admins might feel the server has been getting out of control lately---so you are one of the victims of a new server policy--If it is a good server it is prbably only a week long ban so I would check bakc later. Only bad servers perma-ban people for minor stuff

You got banned for name calling and not for one of the following:

1) Killing an admin
2) Punishing an admin
3) Vehicle whoring
4) Pwning and making a Clan look like nooblets
5) etc.

If ya didn't clue in the first 2 times, you shoulda at least learned ta keep yer yap shut. Why all the need to complain about everyone else?

Just chill and enjoy. If things are going on that you don't like, either find a way to deal with 'em (ie, kill their bunnyhoppin cotten tails) or find a new server.

Most servers cost big bucks so chances are that in a few months the server you got banned from will just be a faint memory and 10 more will have sprung up to take its place. I believe that if I get kick/banned from a server it is for the best. I don't let anyone constrain my gameplay because then I'm not having fun. If I see a server that says no kamikaze and the map is mash, well then the admin is just being noob and I'll kamikaze his ass anyway. By getting banned its like they have surrendered and i declare victory.

There are some servers that have a "warning" that states:
If you punish "clan member" for a team kill you will be banned. I think that is total bullsh*zzle. If that clan member is TK wh0re, like to get vehicles then I will punish. TBH, that is the only time I ever punish a tk.
