PLEASE HELP....Screen Resolution

been playing the game for a long time now

two days ago i went to the option menu in the game and went into the video option and tried to change my screen resolution from 1024 X 786 @85Hz to 1280 X 786 @85Hz. just wanted to see it would look like.

however when i hit apply the game screen went black and exited from the game. now everytime i try to go in the game it shows the BATTLEFIELD 2 logo and comes out again.

my question is, IS THERE A WAY TO CHANGE THE SCREEN RESOLUTION FROM OUTSIDE THE GAME? i think that is my problme right now.:cry:

and if not how should i fix this?

yeas its easy, go to your documents folder - the place where windows would like you to put your music and pictures,,, there should be a battle field 2 folder in there.

Go into that and click on profiles then go into both of the folders, I have 0001 and default folders and in both of those open up a file called video - open it with note pad, you will find a line with the resolution on it change it to whatever you wanted close and save and your done! woop!
