Special Forces and BF2 helos

When flying the attack choppers in Vanilla BF2 it takes more than 1 rocket to take out any infantry.While in special forces it takes only 1 rocket properly shot to kill infantry on the ground.

Is it just me or is this really a diffrence in the 2 versions that needs to be the same in Vanilla and SF?

:|: You sure you're just not missing them moe in BF2??? I kill infantry with one rocket. Just have to make sure you make a good hit.

I must admit i feel the same way. There may not be an actual difference between the games but it seems like the heli rockets are more usefull in SF

I shot 4 rockets at a sniper on a water tower from a hover.What did he do?Parachute down and run away!

Perhaps DICE Canada made up for DICE Sweden's "mistake". I take out infantry with one rocket in BF2 too if aimed well.

There is a difference in SF and Vanilla copters. The missiles in SF are alot more effective.

SF choppers seem to have alot more splash damage. Of course maybe its that the levels are all so small and you frequently have groups of 5+ infantry to shoot at. 14 rockets + 5 targets means even with poor aim you are bound to hit someone.

more splash in the sf choppers. but your gunner should really be going after those guys anyway....line em up.

SF choppers are more balanced imo, the pilot actually has a useful weapon, and can do more than line up shots for gunners.

Yea i beleive they are better, i managed to take out alot more people with rockets in SF.
