I need help with SF

first of all, happy new year (late? :P)

today i downloaded bf2 SF and the patch trough the EA downloader and i have this problem while trying to play.

this is what i did.

*installed Battlefield 2
*installed patch bf2_v1_12update
-i can play in all servers with Battlefield 2, is all good.
*installed Battlefield 2: Special Forces
*installed patch 1.12 (the one with shown in the EA Downloader "patch 1.12 287mb)
*now when i try to play, i get this error msg in the 99% of the servers:
"This server only allows players with unmodified content to join. Revert your version of battlefield 2 to the current official version to join"

what im i doin wrong? or what im a missing?
i could really use some help

Did you modify ANY of the BF2 files to alter the startup? I did this once and got the same message, even after the guy who wrote this stated that it did not matter.

Also, when I upgraded to SF, I did get this a few times, I think that I rebooted, reinstalled the patch, from EA, the latest one for BF2, then I was fine.
