I was thinking along the same lines. I dont think I've ever seen a votekick successful.

I'm thinking of adopting a new tactic whenever someone does the "stand in front of the tank" crap. I'm just going to go mix a drink and watch some TV until he gets out of the way.

You are 100% right. I am over 400hrs, dunno how much to be precise, half of that is admining yet I have never ever seen a kick vote succeed.

We have since removed all voting from our server because kick votes don't work, then we have to explain to people why they are getting repeatedly spammed to be kicked (ie its a bug) it gets old really quickly. Begone kick votes, and welcome the peace it brings. If you have a problem with someone ask for an admin as you waste your time putting up a kick vote.

To others who can't get a vehicle before other players can, stop the TK. You're just admitting that the other player is better than you.

      What are your thoughts?
As long as the game rewards this tactic, you score a lot more points in a cockpit, it will happen. Sad truth is that if someone beats you too the vehicle you want, or position in the vehicle, you will be better off killing them, taking the penalty and getting into the jet/helo/gunner pos because if you know what you are doing you'll recover those points in no time.

The scoring system is unbalanced that way, you get the same points for shooting someone with a rifle as you do bombing them from a jet. But the 2 actions are not equal in difficulty and risk. The jet can get ammo anytime he likes, the soldier needs a friendly to provide it, the jet can get to any part of the maps in seconds, the soldier needs transport, the jet has bombs and machine guns both with area of effect that have extreme range, the soldier has grenades with very short range, and bullets. If a soldier killing a soldier = 2 points, then a jet killing a soldier should equal .2 points. A soldier killing a jet should be like 10 points. The 2 point per kill system no matter what is the problem, if they tweaked the scoring system so that it reflected the difficulty and risk for each player you'd see a lot less tk'ng for planes and probably a lot more teamwork.
