Good Game for a First Timer?

Hello!

I have recently become very bored with WoW, and am looking for a new game to kill time. I have never actually played a FPS, but have seen some in action.

Would you recommend this game to a guy like me? I have read some reviews and it sounds interesting.

Will a casual gamer fit in nicely or is this game all hardcore?

Also, is there a monthly price you must pay to continue playing?

Don't know if it'll suit you, but it's definietly a way to hop in a game and just kill.

No monthly fees, simply purchase the game and play online.

If you can handle FPS's, then you'll like this game. Its good for casual gaming, because like GameWizzard said you can hop in and hop out at any time.

Well I am 30 years old and engaged to be married, my fiance and I do not live together, which means I am forever going from once house to the other, I dont find that much time to play. This game is good that you can jump in and have a bit of fun for 1/2 an hour or so or longer if you wish. The vehicles aspect give this game alot more depth than other fps games that can get quite boring.
Also dont play if you get a headache from looking all over the place, I have friends who cannot handle fps games due to dizzyness and well uncordination.

I would choose this game over other FPS games that are out at the moment.

Hardcore this game isnot.

If this is your first FPS, I dont want you to get the wrong perception, so first, make sure that your hardware is up to standards before you try BF2.

For those who have a below mediocre computer, BF2 may cause more stress than fun with stutters, lagging, freezing, ect ect.

well im 14 yrs old... soon to be 15 so i got my present early... BATTLEFIELD 2 and BF2 SF! easily the best FPS around... and playing online gets you account ranked... proberly the most fun part about it.. beating your mates!

I think that you will be fine! I would like to invite you to the server that I play on. Infact all of you are invited. All I ask is that you check out our page before joining the server cuz we have a few rules.

If you need help please ask anyone we are cool with noobs. We are unranked and have all the diffrent guns to try out. Thursday is "poker night" Where we all try and get together to play! But if you see a few guys/gals on then thats the best time to pick our brains on TS.
I don't have WoW myself but but they have TS for that game as well.
