Defenatly for fun, although I find i score better when I'm playing for fun and not focusing on points.

I only play for fun. I couldn't care less about stats/awards ect I only wanted the unlocks and now I have them that's all that counts that's why I see the new stat system as better than the old because it gives people a chance to get the unlocks relatively quickly.

Like others when I 1st got BF2 I complained, got frustrated etc about all the bugs and problems, now I just try and forget about that and play the game and try and enjoy myself because that is what games are for.

Yep I play for fun, when really bored Ill go for awards but I have noticed if I try to get them I have crap games. If I dont try they come rolling in

well im not afraid of being flamed. i voted for "awards". the game itself is fun. but honestly, after all those hours I've played, it's not that fun to me anymore. nothing never gets boring. I'm enjoying the other aspects of the game. i play it for improving my certain specific skills, for winning the game. it's also a way of hanging out with friends, just like watching movies, having dinners, drinking some beer in a bar with my friends.

your apparently a corporal on BF2, Claydough.. either that sig is not yours or your account is stuffed... at corporal you should have of had two avaliable unlocks in you BFHQ.

I play for fun, but earning awards makes the game more fun than if it didn't have them. It gives me something to play for when I'm getting a little bored of the same old maps.
