    Recommend a server provider

The time has come to dump our current server provider due to their lack of ability to provide their product as promised.

Does anyone have a server provider they are particularly happy with? One who goes above and beyond to keep you as a customer and take care of your needs?

Don't waste your time slagging Server Provider X. That's not what this thread's about. Keep it to yourself.

    Thanks for the input.

The game monster is what we use. They have excellent pings and our server is always up and gets updated when we need it to and stuff. Gamemonster has the best servers for BF2 out of any server I've been on.

WolfServers.com is a powerful and evocative domain name ideally suited for a business in the web hosting, cloud computing, or IT services industry. The name "Wolf" conveys strength, reliability, and leadership, while "Servers" directly

          Re: Recommend a server provider

We use www.SeeMePlayMe.com It is unique compared to other providers. You can actually switch your server to play many different games. They are very competitively priced compared to all the other providers. They provide daemon access to your server and you can switch using the daemon from ranked to unranked to play scrims/matches. They also have CAL/TWL configs.

We however have a truly dedicated server meaning that its not shared with anyone else. This should be a consideration you need to make when choosing a provider. 99% of providers make you share a server. If they run too many instances of BF2 you will find your server will lag. It costs a lot more money than a regular server but its well worth the money to ensure lag free gameplay. Because we are the only ones on our server we have Battle Recorder setup to play on 64 player maps even though its recommended by EA not to do this because of the extreme load BR has on CPU resources. Make sure you have a separate ftp account to host your BR files otherwise it will lag your server when people download them. VOIP is run from a separate server also.

The other major benefit is you can choose from many different locations to host your server ensuring your get the best ping possible. In fact I think they have also just recently launched this service in the UK and it may also be available soon in Australia. Most servers are based throughout the US. EG ours is in Seattle Washington but you can chose to have it in places like San Jose, Dallas, Atlanta etc etc

Nuclearfallout is pretty good, and pretty cheap. They have Live Chat and are there 24/7 if you need anything. I recommend them.

nothing like creating a new account to advertise a server provider with their own name as the referrer.
