anyone else suffering high ping on all servers lately, specially UK, its like 200 or more for the last couple of days.

im on Plusnet premier 2 Mb and usually getttin pings of 16 - 20 on locals.

I'm in UK and all local servers give me the usual 10-20 ping max.

Small world, I'm on PlusNet premier 2mb and I've noticed the same thing. Though it's somewhat better these past couple of days, but still higher then the norm.

I'm on BT 1mb, and no problems! 10 to 20 normally.

Im on AOL 2mb and mines gone from around 10-20 recently,but they warned it might happen cos their upgrading me to 8mb

A few people playing IL2 on the battle-fields UKD1 server were saying the same, myself included. 200ms pings all round. One of the other guys was on plusnet and he said he had to contact them about it. Apparently when their network sorts traffic into priorities games get gold priority and p2p get bronze, but their filter wasn't detecting il2 as "game" traffic. It is possible the same is happening for you and bf2. Is it only for bf2 servers provided by the same provider, or is it all UK servers for bf2? what about other games in the UK?

I'm on F9 2mb and I'm normally at around 100.

Just to update, been on BF2 today and it all seems fine again. Hopefully it's beginning to pass whatever it was.

turned out it was my laptop on standby causing the lag(probably loaded with psguard or some crapware), back to normal now thanks.

ive just had my ping at over 500 how the hell do i get it lowered
