Unmodified Version error.

ok, so for some reason when i try to connect to a server, it tells me the server only allows unmodified versions of bf2, and to revert to the original version.

but....i didnt modify it. i just recently re-installed my copy after a reformate, and i played just fine yesterday.

is there any way around this other than re-installing the game? :cry:

Make sure you installed the latest patch. That was the issue that I had when I got this error after installing SF.

Do you have SF?
Did you install the 1.12 patch AFTER installing SF?

I have the same problem but only on certain maps, and i dont own SF
