Sound Cuts Out?

On BF2 (and most of my other games) the sound cuts out after 10-20mins of playing. Help!

I've got a Directx 9.0b Compatible Sound Card(the minimum requirment).

what setting are playing on in BF2 for sound? If its high, try turing them down a bit.

if youre using a sound card, set it to hardware. see if that works.
