Wireless router

I was just wondering, would it slow the game down in anyway if I installed wireless router on my computer ?

Unless there is somekind of interference in your area than no you shouldn't notice any kind of game slowdown. Many people these days (myself included) use a wireless router to game with all the time.

I have tried switching back and forth from my wireless to my LAN and I didn't see any difference at all. I do have trouble finding low ping servers vs my friend s who always use LAN. Depending on what type of router you have the LAN should always be faster. I just don't think you will notice a difference unless you have a high end connection (t1 line). I think that it is my connection not my router that is the limiting factor in my network.

I went with D-link as well. It has a built in firewall for all 3 computers of mine.

wireless is fine to use ive been using it for 2 years and i havnt had a problem yet
