Re: BF2 Official Positivity Thread
I like the ribbons, medals, badges. I'm a junkie. But I want to earn them (I'm still ****ed off I got a veteran sniper badge while playing commander and never even firing a single shot).
I like the sounds...the grass-being-stepped-on, that sound I hear when I supply someone with ammo, the sound of a TOW reloading, etc.
I like the graphics. I love the blue/green/red identifiers for the units -- I get a "rush" when a guy shows up as red.
I like the things we can climb...roofs, cranes (love those cranes!).
(dont laugh)...I like the music. I wish I could play it in my car on the way to work. It's a catchy tune.
I like the idea of commands we can shout out to our squad leader (need ammo). I like it even better when the commander blows smoke up my ass with "you're the best squad I've ever laid my eyes on". We need more commands.
DICE has it 95% right. This game really rocks. But that last 5% is a mofo. They have to nail it. (Bunnyhopping, dolphin diving, air vehicles, how we earn our points/badges, etc).
