Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Yeah your teamscore does lose 100 points but if you are playing on a ranked server I think that its common admin/server policy to kick for too many teamkills...probably somewhere around -20....
Someone tested this on PlanetBattlefield. As soon as they were promoted for the first time, they proceded to lose as many points as possible with - teamscore points and resulted in them dropping back in rank.
The only reason people get away with a -100 score is because tkpunish is turned off. It was probably turned off because everyone hates to get punished but the reason it was put into the game is for only 1 reason: auto-admin on servers who don't have a human admin. This was to make sure that Official EA servers take care of the tk'ers without needing a human admin to do it.
I do believe that -100 would be taken off your global score same as if you have a negative teamwork score it would be subtracted also.

I remember the person testing but I think the result was the opposite; you can't lose rank. (BTW, I see the PBF BF2 forum has finally returned; if you can find the thread post the link.)
