Punk Buster picking on me.

Ok punk buster is randomly kicking me from servers.

I get either:
Lost key packets or somthing
Kicked for prior kick/ban (2mins)
and another that tells me to reinstall PB forgot the rest of the message

Ive updated PB and reinstalled it by deleting the PB folder worked for a couple of hours.

I also have problems with the game randomly carshing to desktop with the sound looping and game freezing then crash.

comp specs are
Amd Athlon 64 3200+
Gigabyte GANF-9 PCI-E
1GB RAM
350w PSU
6600GT with latest drivers from nVIDIA site
I use onboard sound

I have latest game patch.

Update your onboard sound card's drivers.
Manually update punkbuster. Google for punkbuster battlefield 2, you'll end up on the official site. Look for instructions on manually updating it. Goodluck!

How do i correctly unistall Punk Buster, I also updated it munually. I'll look to see if thier is any new sound drivers.

Updating sound drivers makes no difference

i had that lost key thingy magigy...i'm assuming you've used that new punkbuster tool they have now instead of the old pbweb.exe ?
if so KEEP AWAY from it.
when i ran mine it said it was updating..thought nothing of it...played got booted ...tried to re update punkbuster....wtf no files to update.
so i reinstalled game,tried to update and noticed that it was actually deletine rather than updating...so third time lucky re installed ..DIDN'T update and BF2 is as happy as a pig in the mud

hey the exact same thing was happening to me! it was crap! i would go on a server and get kicked like 2 min later... i had some 'punk buster could not do something blah blah blah please re-install punk buster'... i tried doing exactly that but it didnt work. i ended up un-installing my BF2 SF and then BF2 and then deleted the registry keys. i re-installed it and i didnt get the punkbuster message anymore... although the game still crashes after playing for about 5 min on the net.... at least it fixed pb...

I re-formatted and still get same Authentication of PB and reinstall if problem persists, kick/ban for (2mins) and lost key packets messages. Plus the crashing. Not updating PB has no effect either.
