Veteran Explosives Orderiance = PAIN!!!

I need some tips how could I get this badge... I've been trying to get it on Karkand, but that map is all ****ed up these days.. Grenadetennis and medicwhoring, spawnraping... yep.. Any other ideas?

Be USMC @ Karkland. At the beginning of round you may get a lot of kills
throwing C4.

Yeah, and preferably you try hard to get it before 1.2. As I see it, it'll be almost impossible in 1.2 with no throwing while jumping.

Just charge in, try getting a C4 over at where MEC usually stays, detonate, run in and get as near as their spawnpoints as possible. A good thing is if you're in a squad where there's support and they're actually helping you get ammo ^^

I would show you a pic of where I stood at times but I haven't got one :P

Engineer on Zatar or Dragon Valley, mine the shallows where the vehicles ford or at steep hills where vehicles can't stop fast enough. Grenade as many vehicles as you can at the nearest flag, so they all get into one APC.
Mines will be invisible in the water and many people in one APC = many kills with one mine.
I got within 1 kill short of my badge with that strategy on Zatar, just mining the water between the Village and the Factory and the hill between Farm and Natural Gat Station.
Then I just gave up on the damn badge, but with more persistance and enough tickets (the said round had 150 tickets left when I started mining), it should be doable.

Do grenades count towards the badge. If not why not. I've seen people put all there C4 on an FAV HUMVEE etc then just go and ran some one. Does that actually work.

Grenades don't count. That would be too "easy". It's C4, AT-mines or claymores.

Putting C4 on a car (while screaming Allah Ahkbar or whatever on Ventrilo to all the mates because the fun of it) works.

^^lol is good fun... but u need to do it a lot...

i got my expert on devils perch the sf map... i tried to get it on bf2 but to many vehicles etc...was very hard...

only about 18-20 ppl out of 32 on the server i was MEC i jus chucked c4 at ppl and boom... tickets went down really slow...boom boom boom veteran and expert hehehe

I'd suggest C4 bombing in the sky cow. You'll need help but it's probably doable if you get good at it. I'm not concerend enough to do it myself, but I could see that working.

Yeah, I tried that. Started chucking C4 on a group of MEC, and in my haste to get it down there I hit the trigger while the last C4 was just below the chopper..... My God those dudes were ****ed. 6 TKs, and they all punished.

If someone says they are after the badge I wuill go support and keep rearming them, just geta team mate to help. The problem is ammo. If you have ammo the kills are possible on a 32/64 karkand map.

Do a 32 player game on a 64 player map and its a piece of cake, I hate to admit thats what i did to get expert .

USMC karkand + C4 + Fence = veteran
USMC karkand + C4 quick detonate = expert

atleast i did it all with c4 trowing and i got both of them in 2 games
