I have recently had to reinstall my copy of bf2 because of some mix ups with the computer. But the problem is everytime i start to play the game on the internet punkbuster comes up and says the i have a to high average ping like aroung 350 or something like that what can i do to stop this how can i get a lower ping.

Get the latest version of punkbuster (google)

Try playing with a firewall off just to see if it plays better.
